01 Casey 24

Dear Esteemed Recipient,

My name is Casey Hodgkinson, and I was once a vibrant, youthful woman, brimming with enthusiasm for life. I had finally secured the ideal job that harmonized exquisitely with my life’s aspirations, and a sense of joy and contentment enveloped me. However, the trajectory of my life shifted abruptly on the 25th of September, 2021, when I received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

As a consequence of the prevailing “no jab, no job” mandate and my fervent dedication to my profession, I unhesitatingly opted to receive the vaccine. Possessing unwavering faith in vaccines and having been inoculated in the past, I trusted the government, medical practitioners, and overarching system to prioritize our well-being. Little did I know that my confidence would be shaken to the core.

In the aftermath of the vaccine, I found myself confronting a plethora of unprecedented physical and neurological symptoms that escalated in severity over time. Regrettably, my memory of the initial stages remains fragmented, and I rely on the accounts of others and video footage to piece together the harrowing experience. This ordeal has been both physically excruciating and mentally torturous, exacerbated by the betrayal of those I once trusted.

Following the vaccine, I grappled with spasms, migraines, limb stiffness, numbness, tics, and debilitating pain throughout my body. Furthermore, my head felt ablaze, and the sensation of being internally electrocuted persists to this day. It was only upon receiving gabapentin that I regained some semblance of control over my tremors, spasms, and tic-like symptoms. Additionally, I have been prescribed Epilim and levetiracetam to manage my seizures. Despite ongoing challenges, including chest pain, dizziness, nausea, and limited mobility, I have sought specialized assistance and been diagnosed with Comirnaty vaccination-induced neurological autoimmunity, probable encephalitis with seizures, probable peripheral neuropathy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and Dysautonomia. Under the guidance of a neurologist and cardiologist, I am currently taking fludrocortisone to manage my symptoms.

Nonetheless, even with corroborating evidence from multiple specialists, I have been denied the compensation and support that I am legally entitled to by ACC. The ramifications of this vaccine have permeated every aspect of my life, robbing me of my physical autonomy, mental fortitude, livelihood, and cherished relationships. I, along with countless others, feel forsaken and maltreated by the very institutions sworn to protect and assist us. We implore you to acknowledge our plight and provide us with the resources necessary to halt the seemingly interminable cycle of loss and suffering.

Sincerely,

Casey Hodgkinson
