Raveena (50yrs at time of vaccination)

Dose 1: Pfizer-BioNTech 13th September 2021
Dose 2: Pfizer-BioNTech 30th November 2021

I am writing to tell my story of my vaccine injury from the Covid-19 Vaccine.

I had my first Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine on 13th September 2021 and about 3 days later I started getting chest pain – I felt like my chest was tightening. This pain did not ease right up until my 2nd vaccine on 30 November 2021. The Dr had told me to go ahead with the 2nd vaccine and had prescribed anti-inflammatory meds after the 1st vaccine due to the heart issues. I remember him saying that my chest felt inflamed – like swelling, around the 16th of September and then after the 2nd vaccine on 30th November. This was the first time I had ever had chest/heart pains in my life. It seemed to get worse after my 2nd vaccine – as in Drs notes on 30 November “sore chest, left side coming from Covid vaccine”. Since the 2nd vaccine up until recently, I have had numerous visits to A&E at Thames hospital with chest/heart pains, but there’s never any conclusions and I have just been sent home again.

The only reason I decided to have the 2 doses of the Covid vaccine was because I wanted to go to my homeland of Fiji to visit my mother, who had fallen ill. Unfortunately, I was so ill after the 2nd dose that I could not travel and never got to see my mother as she passed away long before I was well enough to travel.

To date I have never fully recovered and still have heart issues which leave me very tired with no energy. Before the vaccines I was on ACC due to a work accident that I had about 6 years ago, which caused injury to my left shoulder and as a result I have long-term nerve damage. I believe that the Covid vaccine has inflamed and exacerbated my shoulder injury and has affected my heart, but I have never been referred to a Cardiologist for the heart issues.
My Dr never indicated that he reported my vaccine injury to CARM so I reported it myself,
with the help of an Advocate, on the 5th of July 2022. I have attached the report to CARM and my Drs notes with this submission.

Yours faithfully

Raveena
